CareMold 800
CareMold 800, (CareMold), is an easy to use wash out tooling material with temperature capabilities up to 800°F. CareMold was developed by CHI to assist in the manufacture of hollow structures where solid tooling would be difficult or impossible to remove. CareMold offers low CTE and high compressive strength. CareMold is sold as a dry powder in 50 Lb containers. CareMold when mixed with water can be poured into any mold and can be handled in 30-60 minutes. After drying to the desired cure temperature the Caremold will maintain up to 500 PSI autoclave or press pressure, and can be removed using water following cure. Some of the advantages of CareMold are as follows;
