Design
Our engineering staff has multiple years of aerospace composites design and production experience for the benefit and use by our customers. This provides a high level of confidence for success as new parts are brought to CHI for development and manufacture.
Aerospace composites products produced by CHI are highly technical in both design and application. Our engineering team works seamlessly with our customers to aid in product design and development . We utilize best practices in our design approach and IPT co-development.
CHI utilizes the latest engineering software products including;
FiberSim, Unigraphics, Catia, Mastercam, Autocad, and Cosmos.
The company has design and build responsibility on both military and FAA certified aircraft structures. CHI works with both build to print and design and build programs. CHI has been responsible for FAA conformity inspections and qualification testing.
