We occupy three adjacent buildings totaling 91,000 sq. ft. in Covina, CA. The facilities are purpose designed for advanced composite fabrication.
Building 1 is dedicated to fabrication and testing of our medical products, and compression molding of our small polyimide structures. This building includes three autoclaves and 5 hydraulic presses. It has two clean rooms including an automated ply cutter. The machine shop includes CNC mills, routers, Lathes, and a CNC water jet.
Building 2 houses two large clean rooms, one for polyimide and one for BMI and epoxy. The clean rooms include dedicated ply cutters and laser projection. There are three large autoclaves, and 5 hydraulic presses for polyimide, BMI, and epoxy processing.
Building 3 is used for large 6 axis CNC machining, 5-axis CNC machining, manual trim, Ultrasonic NDI, CMM, final assembly, inspection, and delivery.
A LAN-based computer system form the backbone of our IT support systems, Word processing, VISUAL ERP System, Unigraphics, Solid Edge, Cosmos, AUTOCAD Release 14, ALGOR finite element analysis, CADKEY and MasterCam software support our technical, accounting, and administration systems. Barcode stations are located throughout the plants to capture realtime labor and material tracking.
