High Temperature Composites
CHI has been involved in the fabrication of composite structures utilizing high temperature polymers since our start. We have provided process development, and flight hardware using virtually every commercialized high temperature polymer. In prior decades CHI is known as the premier development house to test new polymer systems. We have been responsible for many of the current fabrication processes in use today across the industry. CHI has pioneered various unique tooling and optimized cure cycles for many of the polyimide systems. We have also been involved in the fabrication of high temperature thermoplastic structures for both military and commercial aircraft applications.
