MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
We occupy two 25,000 sq. ft. buildings located side by side in Covina, CA. These two facilities house our entire company operations, including inventory, assembly and delivery operations plus management and accounting services.
OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Our facilities house six environmentally controlled lay-up rooms; one for medical and five for aerospace, including three rooms available for polyimide lay-ups and a die-cutting room. We also support a machine shop, a special dust-controlled sanding room and other environmentally controlled rooms for computer-controlled measuring equipment and special coating operations. Full vacuum, air pressure and natural gas are piped and available throughout both facilities.
EQUIPMENT
The core of our operations is supported by:
- 4 autoclaves ranging from 2 to 9 ft. in diameter, up to 800° F (219° C) and 300 psi.
- 10 presses up to 300 tons, with heated platens up to 3 x 3 ft. and 800° F.
- 14 ovens, gas or electric, the largest 16 x 6 x 10 ft., up to 800° F.
- Machining capabilities include 4 CNC mills including one 5-axis, a 5-axis CNC router and a CNC ply cutter.
IT SUPPORT
A LAN-based computer system plus several PC's form the backbone of our IT support systems, Word processing, VISUAL ERP System, Unigraphics, Solid Edge, Cosmos, AUTOCAD Release 14, ALGOR finite element analysis, CADKEY and MasterCam software support our technical, accounting, and administration systems.
